Chapter 6: Analyzer Operation

Shutting Down the Analyzer

To ensure that you do not lose any data, always shut down the Analyzer using the on-screen menu before using
the power switch.
To shut down the Analyzer
1. Make sure analysis is stopped.
2. Select the Maintenance tab.
3. Press the Shut Down button. The Confirm Shutdown dialog box appears.
4. Press Yes, allow about 30 seconds for the firmware to close, and then turn off the power switch to the
Analyzer. You may leave the Analyzer in this state to save power.
5. If you are planning to perform maintenance inside the Analyzer, also turn off the power switch on the
Analyzer.
To resume Analyzer Operation
When you are ready to resume operation after shutting down the Analyzer, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that AC power is connected and the power switch is in the On position.
2. Press the touchscreen to start the Analyzer.
