Assign media to a paper tray

You can use the paper tray button
that are loaded in the paper trays. You can assign media in the Trays view after you load the
media in the paper tray. As long as the media type in the paper tray does not change, it is not
necessary to assign the media after loading.

Before you begin
Determine which media the jobs need.
IMPORTANT
Make sure you know how to load media into the paper trays. (See
Procedure
1.
Press the paper tray button
2. Select the paper tray in which you want to load the media.
3.
Press the open button on the paper tray or touch [Open] in the Trays view.
4. Load the media into the paper tray.
5.
Close the paper tray.
6. Touch [Assign] if the media type in the paper tray has changed.
