6 DTMF
Stun allows an administrator to remotely disable a
stolen transceiver, using the DTMF function.
Stun Code
The Stun Code is a standby code of the Stun
function.
You can program the code (up to 10 digits) using 0
~ 9, A ~ D, "*", and "#".
The transceiver transponds when the Stun Code
matches.
TX Inhibit
The transceiver cannot transmit.
TX/RX Inhibit
The transceiver cannot either transmit or receive
(speaker unmute). In this status, the transceiver
does not emit received signals even though the
receiver continues to operate.
The transceiver stores the status even if the
transceiver is turned OFF.
The TX Inhibit and TX/RX Inhibit status cannot be
reset using the Auto Reset Timer function or any
transceiver operation. The transceiver status is
reset only when the Stun Reset Code (Stun Code
+ #) is received.
The Stun status is reset when the transceiver
receives the Stun Reset Code (Stun Code + #)
and transponds.

6.3.10 Horn Alert Logic

This function allows you to change the Horn Alert
Logic when receiving a DTMF ID Code that matches
the code programmed in the transceiver.

The Horn Alert Port toggles between Low and
High every 500 ms, three times.

The Horn Alert Port remains Low for the time
programmed in the Horn Alert Time.

The Horn Alert Time is the duration the Horn Alert
Port remains Low after receiving a matching DTMF
ID Code.

The Horn Alert Port remains Low when the DTMF
ID Code matches. It switches back to High when
the code does not match.
Note: You can use this function when the Horn Alert Logic is
Continuous.

6.3.12 DTMF Number Display

This function allows you to view the DTMF Code
upon receipt. The display is updated when the
transceiver does not receive another code for more
than 1 second after it receives the DTMF Code.
Note: This function is available only when DTMF Signalling is
OFF.

6.3.13 Clear to Transpond

This function allows the transceiver to transpond after
the Busy Signal on the current Channel is cleared.
This function ensures the Transpond operation.
The transceiver transponds immediately after the
DTMF Code matches when this function is disabled.
