Preparation Installing the Plasma Display Locating • Avoid the direct sunlight. Keep enough ventilation. • The length of the system cable used to connect the Plasma Display and the AVC System is about 3 m. • Because the Plasma Display is heavy, be sure to Over 50 cm move it by more than two persons.
Preparation Attaching the Speakers Attaching the right speaker Position the speaker brackets (upper and lower Speaker bracket (upper part) parts) to the speaker, by firmly fastening the O headed screws with a O screwdriver. Preparation Securing the Plasma Display to the wall Fasten the two supplied eyelet screws. In the case of PZ-50HV2 Thread a suitable wire or rope through the eyelet screws, and attach this to the wall at both sides. Make sure that the Plasma Display is firmly Commercially installed to the wall.

Basic adjustment settings Programme setup You can run the auto installation procedure again at any time, by accessing the Setup menu, then Programme Setup. Channels can be turned automatically or manually. Auto search MENU You can also automatically search TV channels by Setup performing the procedure below.

Useful features Teletext function What is Teletext? Teletext broadcasts pages of information and entertainment to specially equipped television sets. Your Plasma Display TV receives Teletext signals broadcast by a TV networks, and decodes them into graphical format for viewing. News, weather and sports information, stock exchange prices and programme previews are among the many services available.

Useful features Displaying Subpages You can display several subpages as they are transmitted. Press m to display Teletext. Press j to display the subpage as shown below. Select the desired subpage by using c/d/RED/ GREEN. • 0 – 9 directly selects the desired subpage. Press j to exit the subpage screen.
Useful features Time display You can display the time information included in the Teletext. Follow the steps below to display the time. Select a TV channel providing Teletext information. HOW TO SET THE FACTORY PRESETS Press and hold down CLEAR on the AVC System while it is in standby mode. Then press POWER on the Plasma Display or B on the remote control unit to turn the Plasma Display TV on. All setting items (except TV channel) return to the factory presets.
