Preparing the Belt Guard
Parts needed for this procedure:

Retaining ring
1
Guard plate
2
Flange-head capscrew (5/16 x 1 inch)
Removing the Belt Guard
1.
At the back of the machine, remove the 2
flange-head capscrews that secure the belt
guard to the bracket
1. Flange-head bolt (5/16 x
3/4 inch)
2.
At the left side of the machine, remove the 2
capscrews and 2 spacers that secure the belt
guard to the left frame plate, and remove the
guard
(Figure
4).

Assembling the Capscrews and
Spacers to the Belt Guard
1.
Assemble the capscrew and spacer that you
removed in
through the hole in the belt guard as shown in
Figure
5.

Secure the capscrew and spacer to the belt
guard with a retaining ring

Repeat steps
