Fuel System
Maintenance
WARNING
Fuel system components are under high
pressure. The use of improper components
can result in system failure, fuel leakage, and
possible explosion.
Use only approved fuel lines and fuel filters.
Replacing the Fuel Filter
Service Interval: Every 200 hours/Yearly (whichever
comes first) (more often in dirty or
dusty conditions).
The fuel filter is located near the engine on the front
or rear side of the engine.
1. Move the speed-control lever to the N
position to stop the machine.
2. Disengage the PTO, engage the parking brake,
shut off the engine, and wait for all moving parts
to stop.
3. Wait for the machine to cool down.
4. Clamp the hose on the fuel tank side of the fuel
filter.
5. Squeeze the ends of the hose clamps together
and slide them away from the filter

components that could cause fuel line damage.
