Adding Fuel
1. Park the machine on a level surface.
2. Shut off the engine and set the parking brake.
3. Clean around the fuel tank cap and remove the
cap
(Figure
11).

Important:
Do not open the fuel tank when
parked on a hill. The fuel could spill out.
4. Add fuel to the fuel tank, until the level is even
with the bottom of the filler neck. Do not over
fill the fuel tank.
5. Install the fuel tank cap and secure. Wipe up
any fuel that may have spilled.
Note:
If possible, fill the fuel tank after each use.
This will minimize possible buildup of condensation
inside the fuel tank.

Wheels dropping over edges can cause

• Do not operate near drop-offs or near
water.
• Reduce speed and use extreme caution on
slopes.
• Avoid sudden turns or rapid speed
changes.
CAUTION
This machine produces sound levels in
excess of 85 dBA at the operators ear and can
cause hearing loss through extended periods
of exposure.
Wear hearing protection when operating this
machine.

Starting the Engine
1. Raise the roll bar up and lock it into place, sit on
the seat, and fasten the seat belt.
2. Make sure the traction pedal is in the neutral
position.
3. Set the parking brake.
4. Move the PTO (power take off) switch to the off
position
(Figure
21
12).
