Self-inspection

StorCLI is the command line management software developed by Broadcom for its SAS adapter product line. We

will use StorCLI commands in this section as reference examples.

After the operations of the sections 3.1 and 3.2 are completed, we can quickly self-checking whether normal

operations of equipment, operations are as below:

Launch Terminal in Linux Host Server and install StorCLI properly. Use "storcli64 show" to display SAS

adapter information. Locate the SAS adapter (either SAS HBA or RAID adapter) that D4390 is attached to.

Example below shows that D4390 is attached to 440-16e adapter (controller #3).

Use "storcli64 /cx /eall show" command to display all the JBOD enclosures attached to the selected SAS

adapter. Identify the enclosure ID of D4390. (For the command "storcli64 /cx /eall show" the x in /cx stands

for the controller #)
