4 Cabling and Access to Electricity

After the equipment has been installed, please check again that the equipment has been properly secured. Then
it is ready to power up the system and connect the SAS cables.
Please follow the following steps when attaching the cables to the system.
1)
Connecting the power cable(s) and electricity, see section
2)
Connecting SAS cables, see section
3)
Self-inspection, see section

Connecting and Securing the Power Cable(s)

4.1.1 Connecting the Power Cable(s)

1)
Connect the system's power cable(s) to the rear side of the system.
2)
Connect the power cord to the power source.

NOTE:
The system will power on once connected to the power source. And then check if there is any illuminated faulty or
warning LED. If there is any, check the cables or see section

4.1.2 Securing the Power Cable(s)

After connecting the power cable(s), as shown in the illustration, secure the cables with the cable straps.
