PSU-Power Supply Unit

3.2.1 Overview

The D4390 storage enclosure is powered by four 1300-watt redundant Power Supply Units with
following features.
1300-watt 80Plus Titanium Level
Input: 200-240VAC (2+2 Redundant)
Input: 100-127VAC (3+1 Redundant)
Via IEC 320 C-14 inlet on the system rear

3.2.2 PSU status LED

Refer to the picture below for the PSU viewed from the rear of the chassis. The location of the status
LED is pointed by the arrow in Figure 3-5.

PSU status description
Output ON and OK
Updating PSU firmware
1. AC cord is unplugged, or AC power is lost on a PSU, while a 2
PSU connected via same bus rail is present and providing power
2. PSU critical event causing a shutdown; failure, OCP (over current
protection), OVP (over voltage protection) or FAN fail
PSU warning events when the power supply continues to operate at
high temp, high voltage, high current or at slow FAN speed
