2. Remove the computer cover. See "Removing the computer cover" on page 112.
3. Disconnect the system fan cable from the system fan connector on the system board. See "Parts on the
system board" on page 37.
4. Remove the four screws that secure the system fan, and then remove the system fan as shown.

5. Position the new system fan as shown, and align the four screw holes in the system fan with the
corresponding mounting studs on the system board. Then, install the four screws to secure the system
fan to the chassis.
