Install the steering wheel (4-passenger

crated model only).

Connect the battery (4-passenger
–
crated model only).

Check the fluid levels and tire pressure.
–
Burnish (break-in) the brakes.
Procedure
Refer to
Figure 3
for this procedure.
1.
Place the steering wheel on the steering shaft.
Ensure that the steering wheel is centered
(i.e., the flat bottom should be parallel with the
ground).
2.
Use the locknut to secure the steering wheel to
the steering shaft.
3.
Torque the locknut to 27 N∙m (20 ft-lb).
4.
Use 2 screws and 2 springs to secure the wheel
clip to the wheel cover.
5.
Use 3 screws to secure the wheel cover to the
steering wheel.
6.
Torque the 5 screws to 0.6 N∙m (5 in-lb).
