9. Measure piston diameter and replace if damaged or
worn beyond service limit.
MEASUREMENT
Front Caliper Piston O.D.:
Large: 1.3685-1.3700" (34.76-34.80 mm)
Medium: 1.1860-1.1875" (30.12-30.16 mm)
Small: .9985-1.000" (25.36-25.40 mm)
10. Inspect the brake disc and pads as outlined in this
chapter.

BRAKE PAD INSPECTION

Measure the thickness of the pad material and backing
plate with a caliper. Replace pads if worn beyond the
service limit.
MEASUREMENT
Turbo S Brake Pad Thickness:
.386 ± .007"(9.80 ± .19 mm)
Service Limit:
.219" (5.55 mm)
MEASUREMENT
Turbo S4 Brake Pad Thickness:
.296 ± .007"(7.53 ± .19 mm)
Service Limit:
.180" (4.6 mm)
