6.2 SERVICE MENU

6.2.1 Operation Lock/Unlock Setting

This function allows to lock one or several operation settings of
the indoor unit from the remote controller.
On the setting menu, when the lock icon " " is getting displayed,
that means this setting is locked and cannot be changed by the
user using the " " or " " buttons.
The following settings can be locked:
• Temperature setting (Temp)
• Operation mode (Mode)
• Fan speed
• Louver swing (Louver)
1 In "Service & Installation", select "Service Menu" and press
"OK".
2 Select "Lock Function".
3 Press" " or " "and press "OK". The operation changes as
follows: "Temp. Setting" ↔ "Op. Mode" ↔ "Fan Speed" ↔
"Louver Swing".
4 Press " " or " " to select "Unlock" and press "OK" to confirm
the setting.
5 Press " " to return to Step3.

N O T E
• Parameters F8, F9, F1 and FB must be set to 01 (available) in order
to get the related setting available in the Lock Function menu. If not,
the related settings cannot be locked by this function.
• In case a central controller is connected to the HLINK system, it is
recommended to not use simultaneously the Lock function from the
wired controller and the remote control operation "prohibition" function
from the central controller.
• The remote control operation "prohibition" from the Central Controller
will always have priority over the "Operation Lock" function on the
individual wired controller.
• When using Central Stations PSC-A32MN or PSC-A64GT, setting the
remote control operation from "all prohibited" to "all permitted" may
also unlock all settings locked with the "Operation Lock" from the
individual wired controller.

6.2.2 Password Setting

The initial user password can be changed. If you forget the
changed user password, a supervisor password can be used to
set the user password again. The supervisor password is "5567".
The password input effective time can be set also.
It is not necessary to enter the password for a certain period
after setting the password input effective time.

Change Password
1 Select "Service Menu" on the Service & Installation screen
and press "OK".
2 Select "Password Setting" and press "OK".
3 Select "Change Password" and press "OK".
4 Use " ", " ", " ", or " " to enter the password you want to set,
