Chapter 3 How to Use the Printer Driver
Adjusting the Paper Stop Position (or Cutting Position)
The stop position at which to cut printed paper with the manual cutter can be adjusted.
If the printer is furnished with an optional auto cutter, [Cutting Position] can be adjusted.
Important
• When printing is in progress or an error has occurred, the printer cannot be set to the cutter
adjustment.
• Administrative privileges over this printer are required to configure settings of this printer.
If a user without administrative privileges proceeds with configuration of settings, a message "You do
not have rights to printer management. Please contact your system administrator." appears.

• Whenever paper has been replaced, perform [Cutting Position] adjustment.

Make sure the printer is in the online state (the status lamp is lit).
If the printer is in the offline state (the status lamp is off), press the Power key to switch the
printer back to the online state.

Open the Properties window of the printer driver.
