4.5 Control Plane
This chapter describes the control plane of the CX600-X8.
4.5.1 Introduction to the Control Plane
This section describes the functions of the control plane.
The control plane of the CX600 is separated from the data plane and the monitoring plane. The
SRU is used by the CX600-X8.
The SRU integrates an SFU used for data switching.

As the system control and management unit, the SRU provides the following functions on the
system control panel:
