2-11 Belt Installation

NOTE: 48" DECK USES BELT P#(M0251)
NOTE: 52" DECK USES BELT P#(M0306)
Wrap the belt around the top deck pulley (A1057)
previously installed in Section 2-10. Wrap the other end
of the belt around the deck drive pulley P#(A1055)
installed in Section 2-9. Refer to Figures 2-11a and
2-11b.

Note: The belt tension may need to be adjusted to
properly install the belt to both pulleys. To tension the
drive belt, turn the tension adjustment knob clockwise
until there is 1" of deflection with 10-11lbs of pressure
between the deck pulley assembly and the deck drive
idler pulley. Refer to Figure 2-11c and 2-11d.
