The safety-interlock system prevents the machine
from moving unless:

The parking brake is off.

The operator is seated.

The safety-interlock system prevents the reels from
operating unless the functional-control lever is in the
M position.

Perform the following system checks daily to ensure
that the interlock system is operating correctly:
1. Sit on the seat, move the traction pedal to the
N position, move the functional-control
EUTRAL
lever to the N
EUTRAL
parking brake.
2. Try to press the traction pedal.
The pedal should not press, which means that
the interlock system is operating correctly.
Correct the problem if it is not operating properly.
3. Sit on the seat, move the traction pedal to the
N position, move the functional-control
EUTRAL
lever to the N
EUTRAL
parking brake.
4. Move the functional-control lever to the M
position or the T
start the engine.
The engine should not turn over or start, which
means that the interlock system is operating
correctly. Correct the problem if it is not
operating properly.
5. Sit on the seat, move the traction pedal to the
N position, move the functional-control
EUTRAL
lever to the N
EUTRAL
parking brake.
6. Start the engine and move the functional-control
lever to the M
OW
position.
The engine should kill, which means that the
interlock system is operating correctly.
Correct the problem if it is not operating properly.
7. Sit on the seat, move the traction pedal to the
N position, move the functional control

lever to the N
EUTRAL
parking brake.
8. Start the engine.
9. Release the parking brake, move the functional
control lever to the M

the Cutting Units
Note:
When sharpening, setting the height-of-cut,
or performing other maintenance procedures on the
cutting units, store the cutting unit reel motors in the
storage location on the front of the suspension arms
to prevent damage to them.
Important:
