Locate the open connector on the main wiring
harness to the right of the seat and connect it to
the wiring harness that came with the seat.

Route the seat wiring harness around the seat
slides, ensuring that it will not be pinched when
the seat moves, and connect it to the port on
the bottom of the seat.

Installing the Steering
Wheel
Parts needed for this procedure:

Locknut (1-1/2 inches)

Steering-wheel cap
Procedure
1.
Slide the steering wheel onto the steering shaft
(Figure

Slide the washer onto the steering shaft

Secure the steering wheel to the shaft with a
locknut and tighten it to 27 to 35 N∙m (20 to 26
ft-lb)

Install the cap to the steering wheel and secure
it with 6 bolts

Activating and Charging
the Battery
No Parts Required
Procedure
Use only electrolyte (1.265 specific gravity) to fill the
battery initially.

Battery posts, terminals, and related
accessories contain lead and lead
compounds, chemicals known to
the State of California to cause
cancer and reproductive harm. Wash
hands after handling.

lift out the battery.
