DOS EDITING KEYS
The DOS editing keys are employed to make corrections
of commands and input lines when LDLINE(line editor)
program is used.
The following are outline of DOS
editing keys.
PF1
Copies one character from the template
and displays it.
PF2
Copies characters up to a designated
character(the next character you want to
be copied) from the template to the
screen.
PF3
Copies all remaining characters from
the template to the screen.
PF4
Skips
over
all
characters
to a
designated character.
PF5
Initialize the template.
PF6
Kills the new template(no change in old
template).
PF7
Enters the template insertion mode.
PF8
Resets the template insertion mode.
Skips
over
one
character
in
the
template.
Backspace and deletion.
