4.2.2.2 Parallel system cabling

1. Prepare the input and output wires, the output breaker, and the parallel cable according to section

2. Use the standard 25-pin communication cable provided with the UPS. (The length of the parallel
cable should be lower than 3 meters.
3. Remove the cover plate of the parallel port of the UPS (refer to Figure 3 and Figure 5), connect each
UPS one by one with the parallel cable, and re-screw the parallel port cover supplied in the
accessories.
4. Disconnect the jumpers JP1 and JP2 on the terminal block, and connect each output breaker to a
main output breaker and then to the loads.
5. Strictly follow the wiring requirement of single UPS to perform the wiring of each UPS. Note that
each UPS needs an independent battery pack.
6. Connect the output wires of each UPS to an output breaker panel.
7. It is recommended that the distance between the UPSs in parallel and the breaker panel is lower than
20 meters. The difference in length between the wires of the input and output of the UPSs is required
to be less than 20%.
