Installation

4.1 Delivery, Transportation, Positioning and Storage

4.1.1

Receipt of the UPS and visual inspection

Upon receiving the UPS, carefully examine the packing container and the UPS for any sign of physical
damage. In case of damage, notify immediately the carrier.
The packing container of the UPS protects it from mechanical and environmental damage. To increase
its protection, the UPS is wrapped with a plastic sheet. Preserve the packaging for later re-use.
4.1.2

Unpacking

To unpack the unit, follow the steps below:
1. Using a forklift, position the unit in the place
where it will be installed. The UPS has wheels
that makes it easy to move be moved after
unpacked but avoid dragging it long not to
damage the wheels.
3. Remove the protection on the sides and top
of the unit.
5. Install the side mounting brackets (used for shipping) back to the unit to ensure higher stability of
the UPS. If desired, the UPS can also be fixed to the floor with M8 bolts.

2. Remove the caron box from the top of the
unit.
4. Using the wooden piece provided on the top
of the UPS, slide the UPS out of the pallet
with care.
