3.4 Connecting Cables

The following uses PDU8000-0250DCV8-BXA001 as an example.

3.4.1 Installing a PE Cable

Step 1 Open the door of the BCB box, and remove the isolation board.
Step 2 Remove the top and bottom panels.
Step 3 Take out rodent-proof meshes from the fitting bag, and use diagonal pliers to cut out cable
holes on them based on the number and specifications of cables. Then install the rodent-proof
meshes onto the BCB box.

(1) Rodent-proof mesh
Step 4 Ground the BCB box.
Issue 03 (2019-05-20)
To keep the door open during operations, insert a support bar between the door and the BCB box.
If rodent-proof meshes are used, route cables through the cable holes on the meshes. Skip this step when
rodent-proof meshes are not required. Drill cable holes on the top and bottom panels.
