This C programming example does the following:
• Open an HP-IB session at address 18.
• Clear the analyzer.
• Reset the analyzer.
• Set the input port to the 50 MHz amplitude reference.
• Set the analyzer to 50 MHz center frequency and span.
• Set the analyzer center frequency to the fundamental frequency.
• Set the analyzer to 10 MHz span.
• Set the analyzer in a single sweep mode.
• Trigger a sweep.
• Check for operation complete.
• Perform the peak search.
• Trigger a sweep.
• Check for operation complete.
• Perform the peak search.
• Perform activates signal track.
• Perform narrow span and wait.
• Check for operation complete.
• De-activate the signal track.
• Set units to dBm.
• Take a sweep and wait for the sweep completion.
• Check for operation complete.
• Perform the peak search
• Take a sweep and wait for the sweep completion.
• Check for operation complete.
• Read the marker amplitude, this is the fundamental amplitude in
dBm.
• Change the amplitude units to volts.
• Take a sweep and wait for the sweep completion.
• Check for operation complete.
