7.1 Replacing a Smoke Detector

Prerequisites


Tools and Materials



Preparations
Before replacing the smoke detector, inform the related administration department of
temporary downtime of the fire control system. In addition, disable the logical control
function of the area or system to prevent false alarms. Inform the related departments of the
system recovery after the replacement is complete.

Procedure
Step 1 Hold the smoke detector and turn it anticlockwise to remove it from the base.
Issue 01 (2014-3-15)
A smoke detector needs to be replaced.
