In the event of transmission problems:
D Select the lower next baudrate
D Use the shortest possible transmission cable (RS-232)
D If long transmission cables are used, an annular core may im-
prove transmission.
Proceed as follows:

1. Insert the floppy disk containing the new firmware into the PC's drive "A".
2. Click on "Browse" command button (cf. Figure above).
The "Open" dialog is displayed:

3. Click on (1) and select drive "a".
4. Click on the "asmd_xxx.hex" file in the area (2). The DSS will now dis-
play the name of this file in the "File name" field.
5. Click on "OK" command button.
The "Open" dialog is closed. The system returns to the "Firmware down-
load" dialog and shows the path and name of the selected file in the "File"
field.
