12.2.1.1 Indicators on the front panel (enclosure-related)

PSU CSS indicator (orange)
PSU
– Lights up orange if a hot-plug PSU prefailure event has been
detected that requires (precautionary) service intervention.
– Flashes orange if a hot-plug PSU error was detected that
requires service intervention.
– Does not light up if there is no critical event.

FAN CSS indicator (orange)
FAN
– Lights up orange if a hot-plug fan module prefailure event
has been detected that requires (precautionary) service
intervention.
– Flashes orange if a hot-plug fan module error was detected
that requires service intervention.
– Does not light up if there is no critical event.
I
Global error indicator (orange)
– Lights up orange if a prefailure event has been detected that
requires (precautionary) service intervention.
– Flashes orange if an error was detected that requires service
intervention.
– Does not light up if there is no critical event.
If the event is still acute after a power cycle, the indicator is
activated after the restart.
The indicator also lights up in standby mode.
You can find more details on the indicated errors in the System
Event Log (SEL), in the ServerView Operations Manager or via
the iRMC S5's Web interface.

To examine, which hot-plug PSU is affected, refer to the
indicator on hot-plug PSU.
To examine, which fan module is affected, refer to the
diagnostic panel on the cover of the server enclosure.
