Improvement of interference immunity
● Lay signal cables separate from cables with voltages > 60 V.
● Use cables with twisted wires.
● Keep device and cables at a distance from strong electromagnetic fields.
● Take account of the conditions for communication specified in the Technical data
(Page 229).
● HART: Use shielded cables to guarantee the full specification according to HART.
Use in hazardous areas
Before accessing the sensor terminal compartment and application terminal space check that:
● A safe access permission certificate has been issued by plant operations management
● The flow transmitter may not be opened if energized
● All connection leads are potential free
Hazardous areas
Observe the type examination certificates or the test certifications applicable in your country
if you use transmitters as category 1/2 equipment.
Commissioning
Only apply power and commission the device after the device has been properly connected
and, if required, closed.
