(4) In the [Network Connections] window, click [Local Area Connection].
(5) In the [Local Area Connection Properties] window, click [Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)] to select it,
and click [Properties].
(6) In the [Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties] window, check the radio button next to [Use the
following IP address].
Enter the IP address (e.g., [192.168.1.101]) in the [IP address] field, and enter the subnet mask (e.g.,
[255.255.255.0]) in the [Subnet mask] field.
(7) Keep clicking [OK] or [Close] to close all windows.
