Speed Dialing & Caller ID—Main Table [6-1-1]
The System Speed Dial Table is used to store frequently dialed numbers as well as callers that
should be automatically routed to certain extensions when they call (Calling Line Identification
[CLI] distribution). The System Speed Dialing Table is available for all extension users when
making or receiving a call.
A maximum of 1000 System Speed Dialing numbers (e.g., telephone numbers, feature
numbers) can be programmed with other related parameters. Select the desired System
Speed Dialing numbers from the System Speed Dialing No. list.
Name
Specifies a name for the System Speed Dialing number. As for the available characters, refer
to the character code table described in section 3.2.1 Installing and Starting KX-TAW848
Maintenance Console.

CO Line Access Number + Telephone Number
Specifies the telephone number (including the CO Line Access number) or feature number
assigned to the System Speed Dialing number.

CLI Destination
Specifies the CLI destination (extension) to which incoming calls from the programmed
telephone number are routed. If a Caller ID Modification Table is being used, the modified
number must match the telephone number above (CO Line Access Number + Telephone
Number) in order for the call to be routed correctly.
