Description
Alternative to accessing a volume
directly from the browser. To do this,
select the volume, then right click
and choose Open from the context
menu. This opens the aspect in a
separate window.
Volumes should be remounted prior to
initializing. Also, remount a volume to
refresh the volume information on the
archive device aspect.
Each new archive volume must be
initialized prior to archiving data on it.
For scheduled archives, volumes are
automatically initialized if the device
behavior is set to Advance When Full or
Wrap When Full. For manual archives,
the volume must be manually initialized.
Alternative to scheduled archives.
Marks a volume full to prevent any
additional timed archives from writing to
the volume.
Recommended method for making
archived numeric data available for data
access.
