or damaged.
Installing the Filters
1. Check each filter for shipping damage, especially to
the sealing end.
Important: Do not use a damaged filter.
2. If you are replacing the safety filter, carefully slide it
into the air cleaner body (). Ensure that it is fully seated
by pushing firmly on the outer rim of the filter while
installing it.
3. Carefully slide the primary filter into the air cleaner
body (). Ensure that it is fully seated by pushing firmly
on the outer rim of the filter while installing it.
Important: Do not press on the soft inside area
of the filter.
4. Install the cover, spacer and secure it with the cover nut
(). Torque the nut to 11 N-m (95 inch-lb).
5. Install the air cleaner cover with the rubber outlet
pointing down in a 5 o'clock to 7 o'clock position
(viewed from the end)() and secure it with the latches.

Servicing the Carbon Canister

Replacing the Carbon Canister Air Filter
Service Interval: Every 200 hours (Service more frequently if
conditions are extremely dusty or sandy.)
1. Lower the loader arms, stop the engine, and remove
the key.
2. Loosen the hose clamp above the carbon canister air
filter
(Figure
21).

Important: If a small tube section comes out of
the larger hose on the barb of the filter, remove it
from the filter and insert it back into the hose.
4. Install a new filter into the hose and secure it with the
hose clamp

Replacing the Carbon Canister
Purge-line Filter
Service Interval: Every 200 hours (Service more frequently
when using the vibratory plow
attachment.)
Note: Check the purge-line filter occasionally for dirt. If the
filter appears to be dirty, replace it.
1. Lower the loader arms, stop the engine, and remove
the key.
2. Move the spring-type hose clamps on both sides of the
carbon canister purge-line filter away from the filter
(Figure
21).
3. Remove and discard the purge-line filter
4. Install a new filter into the hose with the arrow on the
filter pointing towards the check valve and secure it
with the hose clamps
Changing the Engine Oil and
Filter
Service Interval: After the first 50 hours
Every 100 hours (Service more frequently if conditions
are extremely dusty or sandy.)
Oil Type: Detergent oil (API service SG, SH, SJ, or higher)
Crankcase Capacity: 2 L (67 oz) with filter
Viscosity: See table below
