Manual reception
Use this mode if you use the SFX-11 mainly for phone calls.
You can receive an incoming fax message when a phone conversation ends

Lift the handset when the telephone
rings.
If you hear an incoming-fax tone, the
SFX-11 receives incoming-fax auto-
matically when feature switch No. 09
is set to "01, 02, 03, 04 or 05". See
page 54.
Replace the handset after initiating the
reception.

When the conversation is complete,

press \ START'.
Your callers hears a fax tone.
When the other party transmits a fax,
the SFX-11 receives it automatically.
Replace the handset.

~ When you hear a fax tone after picking up the handset at step 1, the SFX-11
receives incoming fax messages automatically.
If the environment is noisy where the unit is placed, the unit may not receive
incoming fax messages automatically.
Press [S=] button to initiate receiving securely.
