Manual reception mode
Use this mode if you use the SFX-32 mainly for phone calls.
You can receive an incoming fax message when a phone conversation ends.

Lift the handset when the telephone rings.
If the call is for a fax transmission (you
hear an incoming fax tone), the SFX-32
receives incoming fax automatically
when the feature switch No. 09 is set to
any auto switching positions (01, 02,
03, 04 or 05). See page 82. Replace
the hands&t after initiating the reception.
When the conversation is complete, press

Your caller can start fax transmission after
hearing a fax tone.

Note
If the SFX-32 is located in a noisy place, the unit may not pick up the
incoming
button to
fax signal and automatic receiving will not start. Press ~~1
initiate receiving.
