Reception
MODE
The SFX-11 provides 3 reception modes:
AUTO, MANUAL
and ANSWER.

Set the AUTO/MANU
switch
to select the auto or manual mode.

Press WI
key to set the answer mode.
Press WI
key again to return to AUTO/MANU
mode.
AUTO
The SFX-11 receives incoming fax messages automatically
according
to the position of feature switch 09 on page 56.
Incoming telephone
calls are received by the built-in phone and connected
extension phone (if any). The telephone
and the SFX-ll
rings.
MANUAL
Use this mode if you use theSFX-11
mainly for phone calls.
You can receive an incoming fax message after completing
a phone conversation.
If an answering
machine is connected, ensure this is turned off.
ANSWER
Use this mode if you expect both phone calls and faxes while you are away.
Incoming
phone calls are received by the SFX-11 handset (and a connected
answering
machine).
Incoming
faxes are received
by the SFX-11 automatically.
