Phone reservation
This feature makes it possible to start a phone conversation after sending or
receiving a fax.

Lift the handset during fax transmission.
When the fax transmission is com-
pleted, a beep sounds
side for 14 seconds.
Hold the handset on.

When the other party picks up the handset, you hear a beep.
Talk to the other party.
If you replace the handset after lifting, phone reservation is canceled.

When reception is completed, a beep
sounds at the other side for 7 seconds.
Hold the handset on.

If you replace the handset after lifting, phone reservation is canceled.
H If the other party does not pick up the handset while the beep sounds, the
phone line will be disconnected.
If the other unit does not have phone reservation function, the phone line will
be disconnected.
Handset
If the other party initiates phone reservation, a beep sounds and the display
shows "PHONE CALLING". Lift the handset and talk to the calling party.
