The SFX-11 allows you to select different
contrast/
halftone and resolution
modes for fax transmission
and copying. Select the most suitable mode for your
original
documents
after placing
the documents
in the original
slot.
The switch is located on the right side of the unit.
For normal contrast documents.
For low contrast documents.
For transmitting
or copying
halftone documents
(photographs,
for example.)
When
HALFTONE
automatically
set to
standard typefaces.
is selected,
the resolution
mode
is
FINE.
FINE
For text with fine type and for drawings.

SUPER FINE
For text with small characters (graphics, for example).
("SUPER FINE' documents
is only effective between SANYO
models which are equipped with "SUPER FINE' mode.)
Placing original documents

Adjust the paper guide to the width of the document.

Place the document
face down between the guides and gently insert
it in the original slot. The document
advances
slightly.
When transmitting
multiple-page
document:
Stack the sheets with the front edges staggered backward. The first page must
be lowest. See below.

Up to 5 sheets can be placed on the original
slot at one time.
When transmitting
more than 5 sheets, place the first 5 and then add more
during transmission.
