Manual reception mode
Use this mode if you use the SFX-30 mainly for phone calls,
You can receive an incoming fax message when a phone conversation ends.
Lift the handset when the telephone rings.
If the call is for a fax transmission (you
hear an incoming fax tone), the SFX-30
receives incoming fax automatically
when the feature switch No. 09 is set to
any auto switching positions (01, 02,
03, 04 or ,05). See page 60. Replace
the handset after initiating the reception.

When the conversation is complete, press

Your caller can start fax transmission after
hearing a fax

Replace the handset.

When reception is complete, a beep
sounds.

Note:
9 If the SFX-30 is located in a noisy place, the unit may not pick up the
incoming fax signal and automatic receiving will not start. Press @TART-'
button to initiate receiving.
