2. Open the holder of the socket cover. Grasp section A according to Figure C.3.1-3 and lift up one
end and then the other to remove the cover.

- When removing the cover, do not move it in a horizontal direction but rather lift it up vertically
to prevent the pins from being bent.
- Be careful not to drop the removed cover on the socket.
3. Install the CPU according to Figure C.3.1-4.
