RECIPES
GREEN APPLE GELATO
Makes approx 1 quart
INGREdIENTS
3 small green apples
½ lemon, skin and white pith removed
1 cup (250ml) water
1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
cup (160ml) cream

Green food coloring (optional)
METHOd
1.
Add apples and lemon to slow juicer.
2.
Place the water, sugar, apple and lemon
juice in a small saucepan. Stir over a low
heat until the sugar dissolves. Bring to
a boil and cook for 2 minutes. Remove
from heat.
3.
Strain mixture through a fine sieve.
Refrigerate until cold.
4.
Combine apple mixture and cream and
stir to combine.
5.
Churn in an automatic ice cream maker
until frozen.
