interference. If this should happen,runplug the VCR and plug it in again after a few hours.

*Unplug the VCR and plug it In again after a few hours, and then set the
clock. Set the timer again if necessary
*Cassette's erasure protection tab has been removed. Use a different
cassette or place adhesive tape over the tab opening.
Check if a cassette is loaded.

Make sure VCR is not in pause/still mode.

The heads may be dirty from condensed moisture or the magnetic coating of

the video tape. (If this is the case, the heads need to be cleaned. Ask the
retailer or Sharp approved service centre.)
Check all connecting cables.

The remote control unit is too far awav from the main unit.

The remote control unit is not pointed*correctly at the photoreceptor window.

The batteries are exhausted.
l
The batteries have not been inserted in the correct direction (+/- polarity).
