Basic information

The midplane provides the connections between the server blades and the
infrastructure modules of the system unit. The midplane is attached to the rear
chassis. The rear chassis is inserted in the rear of the system unit as an inner
housing. It provides slots for PSUs, fan modules, connection blades and
management blades.
