4.2.7 Selecting a new setting from a list of choices

Use the procedure described below to select a new setting for parameters that present a list of choices
(e.g., PV Display, Temperature Units, etc.)

1. Press to begin the edit process. The Basic Display will show the current setting of the item
on the lower line, left justified.
2. Press the  or  buttons to scroll through the list of choices.

3. Press to make your selection. The new selection will be stored in the transmitter and
displayed on the lower line, right justified.

This selection allows the user to
enter the date a transmitter is
installed.
The Install Date is entered in
sequence of Day, Month, and
Year, followed by the new date
and the prompt Write Date to
confirm the entry.
CAUTION: The Install Date can
only be written once in the life of
the Transmitter. You cannot erase
or overwrite the Install Date once it
has been written.
