NOTE: If the answering machine is off, it will switch on after the 10th ring so that
it can be switched on and programmed by remote control.

Selecting the Answering Mode

You can set the phone to answering and recording. The phone automatical-
ly answers incoming calls. The caller will hear your own or the default outgo-
ing message 1 and can leave a message after the beep.
You can also set the phone to answering only. In that case the phone will answer
calls with your own or default outgoing message 2 and hang up. No incom-
ing messages will be recorded.

NOTE: When the memory is full, the phone will automatically switch to answer-
ing only.

Default Outgoing Messages

If you do not want to personalise the outgoing messages (1 and 2) for answer-
ing + recording mode and answering only mode, you can use the default out-
going messages.
