Vegetables, salads and accompaniments
Waldorf salad
makes 4-6 serves
3 Granny Smith apples, quartered
½ bunch celery sticks, trimmed
2 tablespoons lemon juice
100g walnuts
Dressing:
3 egg yolks
2 teaspoons seeded mustard
¼ cup olive oil
2 tablespoons garlic chives
Salt and pepper, optional

Assemble the Wizz™ Food Processor using
the food processor bowl and insert the thick
slicing disc.

Slice apples and celery using mid-range
speed, then transfer to a large serving bowl
and toss with lemon juice and walnuts.

Reassemble the Wizz™ Food Processor using
the blender jug.

For the dressing: place eggs yolks and mustard
into the blender jug. With the motor running on
high-range speed, slowly add the oil through
the blender jug feeder hole, blending until
smooth and creamy. Add chives and process
until just combined. Season to taste.

Fold dressing through tossed ingredients and
serve chilled.

Coleslaw
makes 4-6 serves
300g white cabbage, cut in wedges
300g purple cabbage, cut in wedges
2 carrots, peeled
1 Spanish onion, peeled and quartered
1 red capsicum, quartered
1 green capsicum, quartered
2 Granny Smith apples, quartered
2 sticks celery
Dressing:
1 cup mayonnaise (see R9)
¼ cup light sour cream
1 tablespoon seeded mustard

Assemble the Wizz™ Food Processor using the
food processor bowl and insert the thick
shredding disc.

Shred cabbages, carrots, onion, capsicum and
apple using mid-range speed, then transfer to
a large serving bowl.

Reassemble the Wizz™ Food Processor using
the food processor bowl and insert the thin
slicing disc.

Slice the celery using mid-range speed. Toss
with shredded ingredients.
5.
For the dressing: combine mayonnaise, sour
cream and mustard.
6.
Fold dressing through tossed ingredients and
serve chilled.
