Take the following steps to connect an ISDN BRI with NT1 WAN interface card to an ISDN
network:

Confirm that the router is still turned OFF.
Connect one end of a straight-through RJ-45-to-RJ-45 cable to the card's RJ-45
connector.
Connect the other end of the cable directly to the ISDN wall jack as shown in
Figure 3-11.
Turn ON power to the router.
