    Apply lockout and tagout (LOTO) before servicing the Ultrasound system. Applying LOTO ensures a safe environment when working on the LOGIQ Totus. Follow all recommended safety procedures when servicing and working near energy sources. Follow LOTO requirements by ensuring you are in total control of the AC power plug at all times during the service process.
  • Page 58 Dangerous voltages exist within the LOGIQ Totus. Hazardous voltages, greater than 30 volts, exist in the LOGIQ Totus. Always disconnect the power cable from the wall before disconnecting it from the LOGIQ Totus. To remove the energy supply from the LOGIQ Totus, do the following: 1.

This figure does not include cooling needed for lights, people, or other equipment in the room. Each person in the room places an additional 300 Btu/hr.

    This dedicated power shall originate at the last distribution panel before the LOGIQ Totus. The LOGIQ Totus will function on voltages from 100-240 volts and 50 or 60 Hz. However, if using 220 volt power, then a center tapped power source is required.

    Ultrasound machines also generate EMI. The LOGIQ Totus complies with limits as stated on the EMC label. However there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation.

Ground the LOGIQ Totus Poor grounding is the most likely reason a LOGIQ Totus will have noisy images. Check grounding of the power cord and power outlet.

    LOGIQ Totus environmental specifications may be different than the probes. STORAGE TEMPERATURES VARY DEPENDING ON THE TYPE OF PROBE.
