2. Push the PTO switch (D) to the left to disengage the
drive on the cutting deck.
3. Push the parking brake button (C) to apply the
parking brake.
4. Push the engine stop/start switch (E) to the left to
stop the engine.
To adjust the cutting height
WARNING:
cutting deck, apply the parking brake and
stop the engine before you enter the work
area.
To adjust the cutting height, refer to

cutting height (C112X, C122X, R137X) on page 33 for
instructions.
To apply and release the parking brake with
the remote control
• Push the parking brake button to apply and release
the parking brake.
To put the remote control to off
• Push the ON/OFF button to put the remote control to
off.

The information center display (C) on the remote control
shows the information that follows about the remote
control:
• If the remote control is on or off.
• Error codes. Refer to
on page 77 .
Note:
The information center display becomes
RED if a system error has occurred.
• The radio signal strength between the remote control
and the product.
Radio signal
Strength indicator for the radio sig-
nal, 4 levels.
Radio signal is in standby mode.
The remote control does not oper-
ate correctly. Make sure that all
controls and switches on the re-
mote control are in their neutral
positions. Make sure that the ma-
chine stop button is not engaged
when you start the remote control.
No radio signal.
