WARNING:

control is damaged or does not operate

To do a check of the of the machine stop button on the
remote control
Note:
The switch for the remote control must be in
position "1" in less than 3 minutes after the ignition key
is set to neutral position. After 3 minutes, it is necessary
to turn the ignition key to the STOP position and try
again.
1. Set the product in remote control mode. Refer to
start the remote control mode on page 37 .
2. Push the machine stop button on the remote control
and make sure that the operation prevented indicator
comes on.

3. Turn the machine stop button on the remote control
clockwise to disengage the machine stop.
Operator presence control (OPC) indicator on the
remote control
The OPC indicator is engaged when the operator sits in
the seat. Refer to
page 16 . The OPC indicator on the remote control panel
comes on.
Operation conditions for remote control mode
Note:
If an operation condition is changed, the engine
immediately stops. The parking brake is immediately
applied and the drive of the cutting deck is disengaged.
The operation conditions for remote control mode are as
follows:
• The operator does not sit in the seat.
• The PTO button on the product is disengaged, the
ignition key is in the neutral position and the parking
brake on the product is released. Refer to
the remote control mode on page 37 .
• The switch for remote control mode is in position "1".
Note:
The switch for the remote control must be in
position "1" in less than 3 minutes after the ignition
key is set to neutral position. After 3 minutes, it
is necessary to turn the ignition key to the STOP
position and try again.
• The machine stop button on the remote control is
disengaged.
• The product is in correct operation range.
To do a check of the operation conditions for remote
control mode
Do a check of the operation conditions daily.
1. Start the remote control mode, stop the product

on level ground and apply the parking brake with
the remote control. Sit in the seat and push the
engine stop/start switch on the remote control. If the
operation conditions work, the engine does not start.
2. Start the remote control mode, stop the product on
level ground and apply the parking brake with the
remote control. Put the ignition key in start position
and push the engine stop/start switch on the remote
control. If the operation conditions work, the engine
does not start.
3. Start the remote control mode, stop the product on
level ground and apply the parking brake with the
remote control. Pull the PTO-button on the product
and push the engine stop/start switch on the remote
control. If the operation conditions work, the engine
does not start.
