Limiting Rotation Output Direction
How to prevent equipment damage caused by the motor reversing?
Q
In some cases, the control system may result in a rotational output that is in the opposite
A
direction of the RUN command, such as when operating at low speeds. The "Direction reversal
protection selection [b046]" can be set to limit the rotation output so it keeps the same
direction as the command.
This function should be enabled in cases when reverse rotation of the motor results in
equipment damage.
This function is enabled when "Control mode selection [A044]

control (03)".
Even when this function is used, the motor may rotate in the reverse direction when subject to
high-load external forces. When using this function as a protection against an improper rotation
direction, be sure to thoroughly confirm that the equipment does not rotate in the reverse
direction.
